Even with freezing temperatures, harsh wind, and snow, the 2020 March for Life in Chicago drew a record-breaking 9,000 marchers, according to the Dawn Fitzpatrick, president of March for Life Chicago.

The January 11 march in the Windy City was the first major March for Life in the country. The tone of the event was positive, upbeat and joyful.

Of course, the liberal media could not allow this march to go by without downplaying the massive rally. The Chicago Tribune reported that there were “at least 1,000 anti-abortion marchers.”

Members of the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family, and Property (TFP) along with students from the Saint Louis de Montfort Academy, joined the March for Life in Chicago, processing with a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary accompanied by bagpipes and drums.

It is genuinely touching to see the youthful enthusiasm that permeates the pro-life movement. May Our Lady continued to bless the efforts of those on the frontlines in the fight against abortion to make this heinous sin unthinkable.
