Privacy Policy

Internet privacy is a real concern nowadays and we go to great lengths to ensure your privacy is respected every time you log on to tfp.org. As part of the Tradition, Family, Property’s web site (“tfp.org”), we gather only certain types of information from users. To benefit our users, we would like to explain the types of information gathered, their use, and how to correct and/or change the information.

Information Collected by tfp.org

tfp.org collects two types of information from users: personal data such as zip codes and email address, and aggregated data such as information about traffic patterns on tfp.org (for example, the number of visitors logging on to tfp.org on a daily basis).

Aggregated Information

Aggregated information, such as which pages users view, is collected through several means. One of them is through an IP address, a number automatically assigned to your computer whenever you accessing the internet. Web servers, the computers that store the actual web pages, automatically identify your computer by its IP address. When you request a page from tfp.org, our server logs your IP address. tfp.org does not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, so although your session will be logged, your personal information, unless given (see below), will remain anonymous to us. IP addresses for the purposes of system administration only.

How We Use this Information

The information is used in improving the content of this site, in customizing the content and layout of the site, and if requested, to provide information services by email to the user. Tradition, Family, Property will never disclose your personally identifiable information to a third party unless required to do so by court order, law or a governmental agency.

Cookies

tfp.org  may use cookies to automate the process of logging on to certain areas of the site. The tfp.org cookie would be a small data file stored on your computer that contains a single, randomly assigned user ID number. By recognizing this ID number, tfp.org would automatically provide you with the personalized content requested. Cookies neither read any files on your computer nor damage it. Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies. If you’d prefer, you can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent.

Links to Other Sites

It is important to note that tfp.org contains links to sites other than tfp.org, and that those sites may not follow the same privacy policies as tfp.org. For instance, a link in the “National Links” section of tfp.org will take you away from tfp.org to an entirely different site.

Information Security at tfp.org and Further Changes to this Policy

Tradition, Family, Property employees understand the need for user privacy. Only authorized individuals with the proper user name and password can access the data. Tradition, Family, Property reserves the right to change the policy on use of information collected. Any changes in this policy will be noted in a revised privacy policy statement and will be posted on the web site. You may direct any privacy policy questions to [email protected].

Changes to our Privacy Policy

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will update the Privacy Policy modification date below.
