Marvel just crossed the line… again!
However, it’s worse this time! When I thought that a homosexual Spider-Man was bad enough, it was announced that the company is getting ready to potentially release a ‘drag queen’ superhero in the upcoming TV series Ironheart.
Tell Marvel to cancel its ‘drag queen’ superhero!
Jaren Merrell, a drag performer with the stage name “Shea Couleé,” shared an article announcing that he would join Marvel Studios on Instagram. This is what he had to say:
“I’m trying to find the words to express the deep excitement I feel over this project. Acting was my first love long before Drag. So, it only seems fitting to end my Drag Race journey and begin my acting career in the biggest way I could imagine.” (Emphasis added)
This is not the kind of role model our children need, as they are growing up in already-confusing times.
Please sign this petition and let Marvel know you’re outraged at this foul announcement.
Demand Marvel immediately cancels its new ‘drag queen’ superhero!
Marvel cannot be allowed to force ‘drag queen’ superheroes upon our children. Since superheroes have always been affiliated as role models, many impressionable children may begin to see ‘drag’ as normal…
…and that’s what Marvel is doing!
We cannot allow Marvel to get away with this. Please, I’m urging you to sign now and demand Marvel cancel these plans!
