Tell Austin Public Library To Stop Promoting homosexuality To Our Children

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The Austin Public Library has partnered with an independent bookstore to host a “Banned Camp” for children.

Sign now to protect our children from immoral books!

According to its website, “Banned Camp is a partnership between Austin Public Library and BookPeople. We invite you to come together, engage with books that have been banned or challenged, and be part of the conversation.”

“Banned Camp” allows children to read prohibited books that promote homosexuality, transgenderism and gender ideology.

Taking a principled not a personal stand.

One of the books, titled “All Boys Aren’t Blue.” is written by an LGBT activist. “In a series of personal essays, a prominent journalist and LGBTQIA+ activist George M. Johnson explores… his first sexual relationships, this young-adult memoir weaves together the trials and triumphs faced by Black queer boys.”

This is very disturbing.

These books were restricted for a reason. Such content is against God’s law and should not be promoted to anyone, especially children.

Please sign now and save our children from “Banned Camp”!

Future “Banned Camp” events are scheduled for August 6, 11, and 17.

Before it is too late, please sign this petition, and save children from “Banned Camp.”

To: Roosevelt Weeks, Director of Libraries for Austin Public Library

I am appalled at your recent “Banned Camp” that promotes unnatural vice.

The books you promote were banned for a reason and should not be shown to our innocent children.

I demand you cancel “Banned Camp” and stop the promotion of immoral books.

Sincerely,
