The sound of the TFP bagpipes soared above the angry and despairing screams of pro-abortion clowns as hundreds of men marched through the streets of Boston to protest the sin of abortion.
This year, the National Men’s March to Abolish Abortion took place on November 1, the feast of All Saints.
Thanks to generous donors, 19 volunteers with The American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property (TFP) joined local Bostonians who want to put an end to abortion in Massachusetts.

Pro-Abortion Clowns Show up in All Their Ugliness
The march began with prayers in front of the Planned Parenthood on Commonwealth Avenue. Shortly after the march got underway, about 100 pro-abortion leftists in bizarre clown costumes showed up with instruments and noise-making devices. Another contingent wore inflatable dinosaur costumes. One man with a megaphone was dressed as a pony. This ridiculous attire matched the false doctrines they promoted.

These rabble-rousers followed the march on both sides, trying to drown out the prayers and hymns to spoil the scene. The Boston police department provided an escort of officers, which prevented the clowns from interfering with the march.
To drown out the ungodly screams and noises, the TFP brought a contingent of seven bagpipers and four drummers. The clear and beautiful notes of “Hail Holy Queen” and “Scotland the Brave” drowned out the chants from the leftist agitators. The crowd also joined in singing “God bless America,” which gave our march a unity that the pro-abortion side lacked.

About 50 Antifa, recently designated a terrorist group by the US government, showed up at the entrance to the Boston Common at the end of the march. They were joined by the pro-abortion clowns who had followed the marchers.
They screamed profanities at the peaceful yet manly march that moved past them like a ship plowing through the waves—completely unphased.

This mixture of clowns and Antifa shows that the only response from the left towards the pro-life movement is either ridicule or anger.
Will Staying at Home Stop Abortion?
At the post-march rally on the Boston Common, several magnetic speakers addressed the crowd. Mr. Kenneth Murphy, a local TFP representative, called out the rampant pacifism that stifles true manliness and gave the example of Saint Therese:
“Saint Therese of the Child Jesus was a contemplative saint. Her life was one of constant prayer and adoration, but even for her, as the book ‘Soul of the Apostolate’ says, prayer was her preparation for action.

Saint Therese said, ‘I should like to accomplish the most heroic deeds—the spirit of the Crusader burns within me, and I long to die on the field of battle in defense of Holy Church.’
So let’s be like Saint Therese of the Child Jesus: When this public prayer rally is over, let’s not say, ‘See you next year.’
Instead, let us ask ‘how can we do this every month, every week and every day?’”
As long as Catholic men are willing to step up and ignore the lies of pacifism, as they did at the march in Boston, abortion will indeed vanish from American soil.
