As pro-lifers from across America gather for this year’s 35th Annual March for Life, we are proud to be part of a visible force in the public debate that has surrounded the abortion issue. Over the years, the movement has weathered many a storm and today is ready, relevant and resilient as we face the future.

Since the infamous Roe v. Wade decision, the unthinkable has happened for the pro-abortion movement. What should have been a simple matter riding on the coattails of the Sexual Revolution of the sixties has become a moral and political quagmire. Pro-abortion advocates have lost their vision with no exit strategy in sight.

Year after year, the devastation caused by abortion becomes more patent, while its harmful consequences accumulate. Because of abortion, our country must seek immigrants in ever larger numbers to fill the places left vacant by the unborn in our labor force, Armed Forces, universities, and even in the ranks of the clergy. But abortion causes far more than mere demographic problems...

Once again, tens of thousands of Americans are marching in midwinter to protest abortion. It is an honor and a duty we have proudly claimed and will continue to claim as long as it takes to overturn Roe v Wade, the fatal decision allowing the killing of unborn innocents. Our opposition to abortion does more than just protest this decision. It serves to keep our nation's honor alive. It is a living testimony...
