What is the biggest event that has happened on the steps of the Pennsylvania Capitol over the last six years? The answer is a massive pro-life rally and march co-hosted by the Pennsylvania Family Institute and the National March for Life. The event brought nearly 7,000 activists together on September 21, 2026.
The annual Pennsylvania March for Life is growing, and this year is no exception. Despite the threat of rain, huge crowds gathered for the sixth march.
The American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property (TFP) was at the front of the march, along with the TFP-run school, the St. Louis de Montfort Academy, and the Holy Choir of Angels band.
With the trademark red standards, the TFP members carried a banner saying, “Pray and act to end the sin of abortion.” The band of bagpipes, drums and brass helped give more life to the event.
The overall tone of this year’s march was triumphant, yet still wary of the need to fight against abortion. With Roe overturned, pro-lifers know that the battle is especially intense at the state level, and that’s why events like the March for Life are so important.
Thousands of TFP flyers were distributed before the march began. The flier warns all those who are in the pro-life fight to beware of the left’s propaganda that prioritizes immigration, climate change and affordability.
Poverty is no excuse for abortion. Without children, nothing can advance.
