The NFL denied the Dallas Cowboys the use of a
small decal supporting the slain Dallas police
What’s wrong with the Dallas Cowboys?
Actually, the question is: What’s wrong with the NFL?
The Dallas Cowboys are the good guys in this story.
Here’s what happening…
The NFL won’t let the Cowboys wear a decal supporting the assassinated Dallas police on their helmets. All the decal says is “Arm in Arm.”
But executive vice president Stephen Jones said the Cowboys could only wear the decal for training camp practice, just not in official games.
I think the Cowboys should be able to wear them. Don’t you?
Jones stated, “There are tons of things out there that need to be recognized. Once you open that Pandora's box, how do you ever stop?”
Aren’t there higher ideals that transcend sports?
The NFL recognizes plenty that is not strictly football.
Wasn’t it the NFL that invited Beyonce to perform her anti-police stunt at the 2016 Super Bowl?
The same NFL had no problem recognizing the homosexual agenda by threatening to pull future championship games from Georgia earlier this year because of the “religious-freedom” bill (HB757) that would have protected same-sex “marriage” opponents from discrimination lawsuits.
Ultimately, the bill in Georgia failed thanks in part to the NFL throwing their weight into the mix by recognizing the homosexual agenda.
On the surface, the NFL just wants to play ball and not open Pandora’s box, so why the contradiction? It’s OK to allow Beyonce to perform her anti-police stunt and to recognize the homosexual agenda, but not our heroic police.
The NFL must be consistent and support our police
If the NFL wants sports players to be models for our children, shouldn’t they do exactly what the Dallas Cowboys did and give full support to law and order?
By abandoning support for our police, the NFL lost a golden opportunity to use their prestige to quell the artificial racial agitation in America. Whether intentional or not, the NFL has helped anarchists by suppressing the tremendous good that could have been done at a critical time in our history.
So what did the Cowboys do after being denied their idealistic support of the Dallas police force?
Team executives, players and coaches all entered the field for their first practice linked Arm-in-Arm honoring fallen officers and family members slain in the senseless police murders in Dallas.
