Support the Walders in their fight for the freedom of religion

Support Jim and Beth Walder for refusing to host same-sex “marriages”

Jim and Beth Walder, owners of the Timber Creek Bed & Breakfast in Paxton, Illinois, are just one more victim in the intolerant war waged against anyone with Christian values.

You see, for the homosexual agenda, coexistence and tolerance only apply if you agree with their sinful choice of lifestyles.

So, immediately following recognition of same-sex civil unions in Illinois, homosexuals Todd and Mark Wathen inquired whether Timber Creek B&B would host same-sex “weddings.”

Owner Jim Walder responded, no, we only do weddings and then later sent an email saying homosexuality is immoral and unnatural.

Todd and Mark Wathen then sued stating that their feelings were hurt and they were discriminated against. They took the issue to the Illinois Human Rights Commission and received legal support from the American Civil Liberties Union and won the unjust suit.

Walder’s have been fined $80,000 for upholding God’s law.

Their response to the suit: "The Bible trumps Illinois law, United States law and Global law should there ever be any. Please read John 3:16."

They even declared, come what may, our policy is not changing and that the fantasy of religious freedom does not exist in the Illinois Religious Freedom Protection and Civil Union Act or the Illinois Religious Freedom and Marriage Fairness Act.

Walder sent a statement to The Huffington Post condemning the ruling stating, “we are not looking for a fight. But when immoral laws are purposely passed (or deemed constitutional) that blatantly conflict with God’s word and when the heavy hand of government tries to force us as Christians to embrace sinful behavior, we have a moral obligation to resist and stand for Biblical truth.”

He finished with: “It’s better to obey God than men.”
