Pope made with condoms is NOT art

Imagine a portrait of the Holy Father made of colored contraceptives?

Even worse — imagine a museum promoting this as “art.”

Well, Nikki Johnson’s so-called portrait of Pope Benedict XVI made from colored condoms dubbed “Eggs Benedict” has been acquired by the Milwaukee Art Museum.

The vulgar, pro-culture of death image will be on public display soon.

But if enough decent people speak up, this public attack against the Papacy might be stopped in time.

The offensive “artwork” will be part of the museum’s permanent collection which plans to open to the public later this year.

This is not art. Nor is it freedom of expression, but rather a grave offense against the august office of the Pope — a slap to all Catholics.

Would the Milwaukee Art Museum display a picture of Mohammad in the same way?

You already know the answer.

So tell the Milwaukee Art Museum not to display this offensive excuse for “art.”
