Update: NASA now approves use of 'Jesus' in latest newsletter
NASA employees are no longer free
to mention the holy name of Jesus
According to Fox News, NASA attorneys say the Space Center's newsletter needs to drop any mention of the name of Jesus.
I'm sure you see where this is going, right? Christians are “free” to express themselves in public just as long they refrain from mentioning Our Lord Jesus Christ.
In other words, NASA’s attorneys seem to want to send Christians back to the Catacombs again.
Where is true freedom going? And who is behind this new push to banish God from America's social fabric?
Please act now to oppose this measure to ban the name of Jesus:
Tell NASA to reverse its godless decision to ban the name of Jesus and to apologize for offending NASA employees for mentioning Jesus in their newsletter — and for offending all American’s who believe and honor the One, True God.
NASA’s policy is clear: It does not prohibit the use of any specific religious names in employee newsletters or other internal communications and allows employee-led civic, professional, religious and other organizations to meet on NASA property on employee’s own time.
So why is NASA targeting the holy name of Jesus?
Todd Starnes from Fox News is baffled.
“On Christmas Eve, 1968” – Starnes points out – “the crew of Apollo 8 read the Creation story as they orbited the moon. Astronauts Jim Lovell, Frank Borman and Bill Anders took turns reading from the Book of Genesis. NASA defended the astronauts after atheist Madalyn Murray O’Hair filed a federal lawsuit. The Supreme Court dismissed the suit due to lack of jurisdiction.”
