On Sunday, January 18, followers of Satan at the Crow Bar in Austin, Texas held a Black Mass as an act of blasphemous defiance. Such a heinous offense did not go unnoticed. After organizing an online petition, volunteers from the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family, and Property (TFP) put boots on the ground and held a prayerful rally of reparation and protest against the blasphemous Black Mass that so offends God.
Strong and filled with love for Our Lord Jesus Christ, these prayer warriors stood their ground and offered reparation to the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary because public blasphemy demands public reparation. In addition, the TFP petition made Catholics aware of this horrible offense and collected 5,795 names on its quickly organized petition.
A Black Mass of Defiant “Light”
A Black Mass is an openly Satanic ritual where a “minister” mocks the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in the worst ways possible. This ritual includes the desecration of a Consecrated Host and numerous verbal and physical blasphemies against Our Lord and Our Lady. The organizers of this event gave it the name of “the Black Mass of Defiant Light.” They described it as follows:
“The Black Mass of Defiant Light is a secular ritual that honors doubt, personal sovereignty, and the courage to reject imposed authority.”
The Satanists also claim that “it’s a ceremony for those who feel the sacred is not above us, but alive within every questioning mind.”
This ceremony has as its target the idea of defiance of God’s authority over mankind. It makes each person a god who is free to doubt and offend the Divine Majesty of God and His Church by parodying the Mass.
The TFP’s act of reparation was an act of love to God in reply to this act of hatred.
Thrusting into Hell Satan
As the Satanists gathered to start their blasphemies, the TFP rally began with the singing of Marian Hymns and the recitation of the Rosary. The contrast was stark. The Satanists in black garb with hideous symbols looked as if they had already lost the battle. They clearly did not expect to see so many people opposing their event.
At the same time, the faithful sons and daughters of the Church Militant raised their voices to God in praise but also in supplication, asking for the end of such horrible sacrileges committed against Him.
Leading the Rally of Reparation, TFP member Cesar Franco said, “As our country more and more loses its way, especially with the rise of Satanism, we as faithful Catholics need to stand strong in the public square, for as Saint Louis de Montfort said, if the libertines commit their sins and crimes in public, why should we the children of God stand in the shadows. Public prayer is good and necessary.”
Many locals were horrified that the event was taking place so close to home and thank those brave souls that stood to defend God’s honor.
The Battle for America’s Soul Continues
Thanks be to Our Lady, the rally was a success. Wherever the serpent raises his ugly head, the children of light need to be prepared to rise up and not let acts like a Black Mass go unopposed
Our Lady of Fatima forewarned of these sins. Faithful Catholics need to turn to her and ask her intercession in these trying times. With confidence in her and a rosary in hand, Satan will be defeated.
