July 19 – Brunswick, Maine

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

After Mass and a hearty breakfast hosted by a local friend, we went to a town called Brunswick. We picked a busy corner close to a mall and Highway 1, the scenic road that goes all the way from Maine to Florida. Like yesterday, the honks of support from cars continue to be very good.

One truck driver saw the campaign and immediately reached up to pull on his horn. For some reason, the horn cord was not there. He was confused but still wanted to show us some support. He rushed to press the horn on his wheel but that wasn’t making any sound as well. He was running out of time to show his support, so out of lack of anything else both he and his wife waved their arms wildly and gave us thumbs up with big smiles on their faces.

The main difference from yesterday was a noticeable decrease in the opposition. It was almost a quarter of an hour before someone showed any disagreement.

Several people showed interest in joining us in our future campaigns. The support is very promising.
