We are
faced with the nation's first post-modern war. But what
kind of war is this? Who is the enemy and why does he
hate us? Until we understand clearly what drives our
assailants, and until we learn how to counter their
psywar tactics, we are vulnerable.
|
 |
In the
aftermath of the September 11 terrorist attacks, every
effort has been made to distinguish Islam from violence.
Every statement from the media or the government has
come with a disclaimer. This is not a clash of
civilizations. |
 |
The American
TFP decries the coordinated terrorist attacks on American
soil. These cowardly attacks provide an occasion of
reflection. Today, America is a target of hatred. We
are not hated for our many defects but our qualities. |

This Isn't Just Any Blasphemy!
(May 1, 2001)
However,
Alma Lopez's "Our Lady" exhibit at the Museum of International

Press reports describe the exhibit as a computer collage
portraying a bikini-clad Virgin of Guadalupe, held aloft
by a topless woman-angel. "This isn't just any blasphemy,"
claims Mr. Robert Ritchie, campaign coordinator. "It targets
Our Lady in an invocation that is so dear to Catholics,
