Cardinal Janis Pujats, Archbishop of Riga, Latvia, indicates the best means to fight against the sinful practice of homosexuality. For instance, we must preach that divine law and natural law are stable and immutable. What changes is the position of peoples and parliaments and the laws they create. No legislative body can eliminate the Decalogue, for it is supported on natural law, guaranteeing the existence of society. But if the State imposes homosexuality on society, the Church has a right to protest.
