Facing frigid weather and glacial winds the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property (TFP) joined well over 100,000 concerned Americans from across the country for the annual March for Life in Washington D.C.

With the election of Luis Inacio Lula de Silva (Lula) in Brazil, our southern neighbor took a sharp turn to the left. To make Americans aware of this danger, the TFP Washington Bureau launched an e-newsletter called LulaWatch.

On January 16, 2003 the American TFP sent a letter to Secretary of State Colin Powell, urging the U.S. government to cease all future funding and involvement with U.N. Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA).
