On December 7-16, Prince Bertrand of Orleans-Braganza went on a TFP-sponsored speaking tour of American cities which included St. Louis, Missouri; New Orleans and Alexandria, Louisiana. He spoke on the importance of Catholic leadership in society and visited with Catholic and civic leaders.

In face of June 7 elections which centered on ecnomic issues, Tradition, Family and Property (TFP) in the United Kingdom issued a statement on the lack of ideological and moral content of the electoral debate. The statement "Are We To Be Treated As a Nation With Only a Stomach?" was published in three daily newspapers and handed out in public street campaigns in London.

Ever since the Supreme Court defined flag burning as "free speech" in 1989, Americans across the nation have vehemently protested this offense against the honor of the nation. As a flag-protection amendment comes to a vote once again, the American TFP adds its voice to those who protest against this strange "right" to insult the country by reviling its symbols.

More than 400 people came together for the 10th Annual Speak Out Illinois conference in Chicago on January 13th to strategize on how to turn back the abortion culture. Forty-five anti-abortion and pro-family organizations took part, among them the American Society for the Defense of Tradtion, Family and Property (TFP).
